Stock Market update -Dec 11th

The market recovered from the small prior week pullback, to set new all-time record highs again. Bonds continue to sink. Next week we get the final Fed meeting for the year, where rates are expected to be raised by .25 -barring any surprises, it should have little impact on equity markets. We could see more movement in Bonds though, which have been very oversold.

We got a pullback this week from the Trump rally. Oil rallied after the OPEC meeting, while Bonds continued to drop, indicating higher interest rates.

Next week the Italian referendum could affect markets.

Stock Market update -Nov 27th

All the stock market indexes are now at all time highs -the last time we saw this was in 2000! Lets see how we end the year, with just over a month left, but the short-term trend is definitely bullish. Stocks are moving up at the expense of Bonds and Gold. The Dollar is also now at a 52 week high. The Small-caps are very extended (IWM).

Stock Market update -Nov 20th

The post election rally continued this week, as Bonds and Gold continued to drop. We saw new all-time highs in the small-caps (IWM) and the DOW, and a huge rally in the Financials. The US Dollar also rallied as interest rates spiked, and as the dollar surged of course, other currencies like the Euro dropped.

Stock Market update -Nov 13th

Wild week in the markets with the election results. First we had the big Hillary rally on Monday thanks to the FBI, then we had the big Trump rally on Wednesday! In the middle of the night on Tuesday we had the big Trump crash! Quite a roller coaster ride. And of course, all the 'experts' got it totally wrong. The DOW closed the week at a new all time high! And the small-caps (IWM) had a huge rally, with heavy volume!

After the election:

Tech stocks dropped, Bank stocks rallied
