Stock Market update -May 27th

The stock market was pretty much sideways again this week, while Bonds rallied, and Oil dropped on Friday. Next week is a holiday week, and on Friday we get the monthly Jobs report. We may continue in this trading range, but should break in one direction or the other before long.

TIF spiked up. Also FL rallied

Oil held up, while Gold & Bonds were mostly unchanged.

Stock Market update -May 13th

We got a huge rally this week, regaining some lost ground. Let's see if it continues... Earnings are mostly over now, and geopolitical events may drive markets in the coming weeks. Looking at the NYA index below, it has a long way to go to get back to the Jan top, while the Small-caps (IWM) are already there, and AAPL & NVDA have already surpassed it.

The market is back at an important level now, and will show if its going to break out to new highs, or sell off from this 'resistance' level (e.g. IWM chart below)

Stock Market update -May 6th

The market dropped then recovered, ending pretty much flat for the week, after the big rally on Friday, spurred in part by AAPL.The monthly Jobs report on Friday was somewhat disappointing.
Oil continued to rise, while Bonds were mostly unchanged.
