Stock Market update -Sep 3rd

We got a nice rally this week, taking us back up to the prior August highs. The QQQ actually took out those highs, while the IWM (small-caps) is still trying to catch up. Biotech saw a big rally. Gold rallied as well, now over $1300. The Jobs report on Friday was somewhat disappointing, but the market rallied anyway. GDP was better than expected. Economic damage from the Harvey hurricane could be in the $100 billion range!

Stock market updates today - The Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex was high by 10.63 points at 32,434.39 and the 50-share NSE Nifty up by 2.30 points to 10,155.40.

The stock market remained positive as almost 1,191 shares advanced against total 1,077 declining shares on the BSE.

Tata Group stocks - Tata Motors, Tata Chemicals and Tata Global Beverage are the most active stocks on the BSE,after a big block deal.
